Xbox Game Pass could really deliver one of the best months of the year in May. Although the full list of games has not been officially confirmed yet, it is already clear that the offering looks very strong and may attract both fans of big releases and smaller, niche productions.
Big premieres led by Forza
The biggest star of the lineup is set to be Forza Horizon 6, the next installment of one of the most popular racing series. An open world, a huge number of cars, and polished graphics make the game a potential candidate for GOTY already. Also on the list is Subnautica 2, which may attract fans of survival and exploration. A return to the underwater world with new mechanics and an even larger scale is something many players have been waiting for a long time.
Smaller games that may surprise
Alongside major titles, more atmospheric productions are also emerging. Mixtape aims to focus on an emotional story and nostalgia, while Call of the Elder Gods targets a dark atmosphere inspired by the works of Lovecraft. Echo Generation 2 also looks promising, expanding on concepts from the first part and once again embracing retro style and turn-based combat.
