A long warranty on a TV is these days the peace of mind we all seek. TCL has just launched a brilliant promotion: it adds as much as five years of full manufacturer cover to most of its models from this year's line-up. Sounds like the perfect deal? Unfortunately, before you rush to the shops, we have a cold shower for you.
TCL extends the warranty to five years
The whole initiative comes from TCL's UK division. Local customers receive a substantial bonus: the standard two-year warranty is extended free of charge by a further three years. The promotion is long-term, covering televisions purchased up to 30 June 2027 from local retail partners. The only thing to remember is to register the device on the website within 30 days of purchase.
Almost all of TCL's most interesting models are on the list
The British haven't been short-changed; a free five-year warranty covers almost the entire latest, most interesting product line. On the promotional list you'll find the aforementioned flagship X11L, the very promising C8L and C7L series with SQD Mini LED technology, and the hot new RGB Mini LED entries from the RM9L and RM7L series. Even the lifestyle A400 PRO made the cut. Some of these screens have already reached our lab, and their tests are now on the site.🙂
Unfortunately... the promotion doesn't cover Poland
And that's where the catch is. The promotion is territorial and currently does not cover all markets, including Poland. TCL's local branch has not issued any statement about launching a similar programme in our country. It's a pity, because five years of guaranteed peace of mind from the manufacturer is a powerful argument that could significantly shake up Polish buying decisions and poach customers from competitors. Let's hope the campaign's success in the UK will prompt the head office to extend the programme to the rest of Europe. We'll keep our finger on the pulse.
