Nvidia is preparing a competitor for OpenClaw. An AI platform called NemoClaw is being developed.

Calendar 3/12/2026

The company Nvidia is working on a new open-source artificial intelligence platform that aims to compete with the increasingly popular project OpenClaw. According to unofficial information, the system being developed by Nvidia is called NemoClaw and may be presented at the upcoming developer conference. The platform is designed to enable the creation of so-called AI agents, which are autonomous programs performing tasks for extended periods without user intervention.

What are AI agents

An AI agent is a system that can independently analyse data, make decisions, and execute subsequent steps in a task. Tools such as OpenClaw allow, for example, the activation of an intelligent assistant that works on a project for many hours or days. The popularity of this technology is growing very quickly as it enables the automation of complex processes from data analysis to programming and project management.

According to reports, Nvidia is already in talks with many large tech companies that could support the development of NemoClaw. Among the potential partners are mentioned Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, and CrowdStrike. It is still unclear what exactly the cooperation of these companies would look like or which functions will be available in the first version of the platform.

Security as a Key Element

One of the biggest problems with tools of this type is security issues. AI agents often gain access to user files, the operating system, or company data. That is why Nvidia plans to introduce additional privacy and security protection mechanisms that aim to increase the trust of companies using the platform.

Although NemoClaw is also supposed to work on computers without Nvidia graphics cards, the company could still benefit from its popularity. Most artificial intelligence models operate on GPU infrastructure produced by Nvidia. Therefore, the development of platforms for AI agents may increase the demand for the company's hardware as well as its cloud services.

If the reports are confirmed, NemoClaw could become one of the most important open source projects in the world of artificial intelligence. Nvidia wants to capitalise on the growing popularity of AI agents while strengthening its position in the rapidly evolving AI technology market.
