The Nintendo Switch Online service gives players access to many classic titles from the old Nintendo consoles. Depending on the chosen subscription plan, you can play titles from platforms such as NES, SNES or Game Boy. In the more expensive Expansion Pack version, games from Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive are also available. Below are three popular games that can currently be played as part of the subscription.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
One of the greatest classic titles available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from the Nintendo 64 console. The game tells the story of Link, who must stop the sinister Ganondorf and save the kingdom of Hyrule. This title was one of the most significant games of its era and is still regarded as one of the best entries in the series today.
Super Mario World
In the library of classic games from SNES, there is also Super Mario World, one of the most iconic Nintendo platformers. Players once again take on the role of Mario and traverse various levels in search of Princess Peach. The game also introduced the character Yoshi, who quickly became one of the icons of the series.
Pokémon Snap
Included in the Expansion Pack is the game Pokémon Snap from Nintendo 64. Unlike classic Pokémon games, this title focuses on photographing creatures in their natural environment. Players travel in a special vehicle through various locations and try to take the best possible photos of Pokémon.
