Xbox has revealed the list of games that will debut from 7 to 11 September 2026. Over the next few days, titles such as NHL 27, Halloween: The Game, Mewgenics and HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush will arrive on Xbox consoles and PC. One of the more interesting releases for Game Pass subscribers will be The Royal Writ, a strategic card game with deck-building elements. The list includes 21 titles in total, representing a wide range of genres. Players can expect both major franchises and smaller independent releases.
NHL 27, Halloween: The Game and Mewgenics are the week's biggest releases
The week kicks off with the release of NHL 27 on Xbox Series X|S, scheduled for 11 September. The new instalment from Electronic Arts is set to better capture the character of all 32 NHL teams thanks to a refreshed arena presentation. The game will feature, among other things, real goal songs, new pre-game presentations and a revamped crowd atmosphere. On 10 September The Royal Writ will debut on Game Pass; it combines strategic unit placement with deckbuilding mechanics. Cards representing minions move across the battlefield towards the enemy base, and those that reach it before victory are permanently removed from the deck for that run. On 8 September Halloween: The Game arrives on Xbox Series X|S, an asymmetric horror set during the events of 1978. Players can take on the role of Michael Myers or one of the protagonists trying to save the residents of Haddonfield. As Michael you must use stealth, shadows and special abilities, while the residents can call the police and try to defend themselves. The same day sees the debut of Mewgenics, a tactical roguelike from the creators of The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh. Players will create their own cat army, using breeding, genetics, abilities and items during turn-based expeditions. Bus Simulator 27 also launches on 8 September, offering over 45 licensed buses from 13 manufacturers. For the first time in the series, long-distance coaches will also appear, alongside classic, articulated, double-decker and electric vehicles. That same day Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute arrives on Xbox, marking the first chance to play the original Culdcept outside Japan. The 1997 title combines a digital board game with deck-building. Players can also expect the puzzle game Hole in Many, where you must plan piece movements and make successive "hits" much like in golf. On 8 September Honeycomb: The World Beyond will also debut, allowing you to explore the planet Sota7, use bioengineering knowledge and seek a way to ensure humanity's survival.

On 9 September HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC, offering four open islands for free exploration. Each island has its own challenges and a Rush Master you must defeat to earn their car and title. Also on 9 September Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster will launch, an action-packed Metroidvania set in a world of sword and sorcery. The same day will see the debut of Cats Around Us: Black Cat and Jewel Match Solitaire X. In the first you must find hidden cats on successive pages of a silent comic story, while the second offers more than 500 levels of card-based fun. On 10 September The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline will join the line-up, a first-person psychological thriller inspired by the Divine Comedy. The player takes the role of Gabriele Alighieri, who must face a family legacy and events tied to a returning boundary between the human world and hell. BrokenLore: DON'T LIE will be a Japanese psychological horror focused on trauma, isolation and an increasingly uncertain reality. Also on 10 September Deconstruction Simulator will debut, in which players fulfil contracts involving dismantling and demolishing buildings, recovering materials and selling valuable items. Co-op fans will get Dumb Ways to Build, a physics-based game for teams undertaking exceptionally hazardous construction work. Fresh Tracks will combine skiing with action and fantasy elements, letting you traverse the snow-covered terrain of Norwyn. In Lost in Loss players become a detective investigating residents who begin to lose memories of their own identity. Mole Mine Boom will be another puzzle offering where you must control ore carts and use explosives to open new routes. RIN: The Last Child will offer an RPG adventure in a world inspired by ancient myths, with spell crafting, rune collecting and boss fights. On 10 September Warshift 2: Machines of Madness will also arrive, blending strategy, action and RPG and allowing you to manage a base, squads, mechs, ships and heroes. The week concludes on 11 September with Dino Odyssey, Dominus Mahjong Arcana and Liquid Cats, offering respectively a dinosaur adventure, a relaxed mahjong puzzle and a simple logic game featuring a stretchable cat.
Between 7 and 11 September, as many as 21 new games will arrive on Xbox. The key releases are NHL 27, Halloween: The Game, Mewgenics and HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush, and Game Pass subscribers will get The Royal Writ. The lineup also includes horror games, simulators, RPGs, puzzle games and co-op titles.
