Nacon Connect 2026 full of horror and darkness. Vampires, werewolves, and Lovecraft return to games.

Nacon during Nacon Connect 2026 showcased a considerable amount of new games set in a dark atmosphere of horror, fantasy and a world of monsters. This year’s presentation was heavily focused on the World of Darkness universe, Lovecraftian nightmares, and psychological thrillers. Among the most interesting announcements were new games about monster hunters, werewolves and Dracula himself.

World of Darkness returns with new games about hunters and werewolves

One of the biggest attractions of the show was Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish from Teyon studio. The game will allow players to embody a hunter fighting against supernatural threats in the World of Darkness universe. The creators focus on extensive character creation, a skill system inspired by tabletop RPGs, and a great deal of gameplay freedom. Players will be able to resolve situations by force or more diplomatically, with the release planned for summer 2027.

The second major announcement was Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Rageborn. This time, players will take on the role of a Garou, a werewolf capable of shifting forms while exploring the world and fighting opponents. The production is set to have a metroidvania structure and will allow players to develop their own pack and operational base. Nacon is strongly indicating its desire to continue developing games set in the World of Darkness universe, which has been regaining popularity in recent years.

Dracula, Lovecraft and psychological horror also appeared at the showcase

The presentation also featured more classic horrors. Dracula: The Disciple from Cyanide Studio is set to be a first-person adventure game with puzzles and an occult atmosphere. Players will find themselves in Dracula's castle in search of the elixir of immortality, with a strong emphasis on dark atmosphere, rituals, and psychological unease. The game's release is planned for 2027.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu also promises to be intriguing, as it is a cooperative horror inspired by the works of Lovecraft. The production will transport players to a dangerous jungle full of hallucinations, strange phenomena, and cosmic monsters. The game will heavily focus on team collaboration and an atmosphere of paranoia, where players will never be sure if what they see is real. The release date has been set for 15th July.

Nacon Connect 2026 has firmly embraced horror, darkness, and supernatural themes. New games featuring werewolves, monster hunters, and Dracula demonstrate that the publisher is increasingly bold in investing in more mature and atmospheric productions for horror and RPG enthusiasts.
