LONDON, 17th September 2025 – LG Electronics has announced a new, multi-year partnership with one of the world's most important cultural institutions – the National Gallery in London. The Korean company becomes the official partner of the Modern and Contemporary Art gallery located at Trafalgar Square.
Classical art in dialogue with modernity
As a partner, LG will support ongoing and upcoming artistic projects – from artist residencies, through discussions and debates, to new commissions for works. The National Gallery has long aimed to present contemporary art in the context of its historical collection, and OLED technology is set to play a significant role in this process.
LG OLED ART – technology in the service of culture
The new collaboration continues LG's efforts in the world of art. For four years, the company has been a global partner of the Frieze fairs in Los Angeles, London, New York, and Seoul. This year, the audience was able to admire, among others, the works of Park Seo-Bo in Seoul and Suh Do-ho in London.

We are excited to jointly inspire the audience towards new discoveries.”
LG Gallery+ – art in the home living room
In September, LG also presented a new service LG Gallery+, a curatorial platform that brings art and images into home spaces. The collection includes over 4,000 selected graphics, photographs, film scenes, and works inspired by games. Thanks to personalisation and intelligent adaptive features, every user can create their own atmospheric gallery on the television screen.
Among the available works, we will also find classics from the National Gallery, such as Wheatfield with Crows by Vincent van Gogh and Bathers at Asnières by Georges Seurat. This is a step towards making art more accessible – not just in museums, but also in everyday life.
