Hisense is not slowing down. The brand has just presented a powerful television E8S Pro in China, which combines next-generation Mini-LED, refresh rate of 170 Hz (up to 330 Hz in 1080p) and AI processor Hi-View Engine H7. All this is aimed at gamers and cinematic picture quality that is set to shame even the most expensive OLEDs.
Mini-LED RGB instead of Quantum Dot layer
Instead of traditional white diodes, Hisense has used full RGB backlighting (separate red, green, and blue diodes). As a result, the television does not require a Quantum Dot layer, yet still offers full BT.2020 coverage (100%), 108-bit colour depth, and even 6,200 nits of peak brightness – three times more than top OLEDs.
The local dimming system is also impressive:
- 75″ – 4,200 zones,
- 85″ – 7,020 zones,
- 100″ – 9,360 zones (!).
In practice, this means perfect contrast and blacks that are difficult to surpass even in Mini-LEDs.
170 Hz, or even 330 Hz – ideal for gamers
The E8S Pro is a true gaming machine. The 4K 170 Hz panel can be switched to 1080p / 330 Hz mode, placing it in the league of esports gaming monitors. Additionally, it features:
- 4 × HDMI 2.1 (48 Gb/s),
- VRR, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro,
- AI Game Mode, which optimises picture quality and input lag depending on the genre of the game.
Sound with Devialet signature and connectivity
The audio is provided by a 4.2.2 system from Devialet with an impressive 270 W output and a large acoustic chamber (7.6 litres). It supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced – the sound is spatial, clear, and powerful. Inside, it features a MediaTek MT9655 with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. There is also Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.0 / 2.0, Ethernet, and an AV input. The construction consists of a 44 mm thick metal frame and a zero-gap mount, so when mounted on the wall, the television looks like a designer panel.
Prices (China) and conversions
For now, the E8S Pro is only available in China (JD.com), but if it comes to Europe – it could significantly disrupt the premium segment.
| Size | Price in CNY | USD | AUD | GBP | EUR | PLN* |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 75″ | ¥16 599 | $2 300 | AU$ 3 580 | £1 760 | € 2 140 | 9 900 zł |
| 85″ | ¥20 999 | $2 900 | AU$ 4 520 | £2 230 | € 2 710 | 12 500 zł |
| 100″ | ¥29 999 | $4 150 | AU$ 6 460 | £3 180 | € 3 870 | 17 900 zł |
*Estimate based on exchange rates from October 2025.
Hisense E8S Pro is probably the most gaming-oriented Mini-LED on the market – it offers brightness unattainable by OLEDs, lightning-fast refresh rates, and a complete HDMI 2.1 set. If the model makes it to Europe, it could become one of the most interesting choices for gamers and cinephiles in 2026.
