Activision has published the full system requirements for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on PC — just before the game's release on 14 November. The game will be available on Battle.net, Steam and Xbox on PC, and the list of requirements includes not only various levels of graphic quality but also a special section for portable Windows PCs.
Minimum requirements: 8 GB RAM and 3 GB VRAM
In minimum mode, the game requires 8 GB of RAM and 3 GB of VRAM.
Minimum graphics cards are:
AMD Radeon RX 470
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / 1060
Intel Arc A580
The required processor is Ryzen 5 1400 or Core i5-6600.
Additionally, the Windows 10 64-bit system, DirectX 12, and 116 GB of free space on an SSD are required.
Recommended requirements: 12 GB RAM and RTX 3060
In the recommended settings, Activision already indicates Windows 11 (64-bit), 12 GB RAM and 8 GB VRAM.
Suggested hardware:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X or Core i7-6700K
GPU: Radeon RX 6600 XT, GeForce RTX 3060 or Intel Arc B580
This setup should allow for stable 60 FPS in most scenarios.
4K Ultra and competitive mode: 16 GB RAM and RTX 4080
For gamers aiming for 4K Ultra or gameplay at high refresh rates, Activision recommends:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i7-10700K
GPU: Radeon RX 9070 XT, GeForce RTX 4080 / RTX 5070
RAM: 16 GB
VRAM: 16 GB
OS: Windows 11 (64-bit)
SSD with at least 116 GB free space
Although the table states 16 GB VRAM, some of the listed cards (e.g. RTX 5070) actually have 12 GB, which may be a minor error in the listing.
News: TPM 2.0, Secure Boot and Ricochet Anti-Cheat
Black Ops 7 requires active TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, which is a security requirement introduced for Ricochet Anti-Cheat.
This system uses hardware security features to prevent the game from running on modified systems and unsigned drivers.
The game also requires a processor with AVX support and active Resizable BAR for Intel Arc cards.
PC Handheld Mode
Activision and the Beenox studio have also prepared a special profile for portable Windows computers (e.g., Steam Deck or ASUS ROG Ally).
This mode offers:
optimised settings for lower power consumption,
sharper text on smaller screens,
support for AMD FSR 4,
intelligent power management.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 requires solid hardware — even on minimum settings, the game needs a card with 3 GB VRAM and 116 GB of space on an SSD. On the other hand, the developers have ensured wide compatibility – from powerful PCs to handhelds with Windows, which will be able to run the game at smooth 30–60 frames per second thanks to FSR 4 and optimisations.
