Fans of the Assassin's Creed series are still waiting for further information about Assassin's Creed Hexe. Until recently there were reports suggesting a mid-2027 release. However, the latest leaks indicate the launch may be delayed. Ubisoft has not officially commented on these reports. According to industry sources, the studio is simultaneously working on several projects related to the Assassin's Creed franchise. The final release date for Hexe therefore remains unknown.
New leak suggests a release not until the second half of 2027
New information comes from NateTheHate2, a well-known industry leaker who posts leaks about the games market. According to him, Assassin's Creed Hexe will not be released before the second half of 2027. Thus, earlier rumours saying it would launch in June 2027 may turn out to be inaccurate. However, the leaker has not provided concrete evidence to support his claims. He only indicates that such a scenario seems plausible from a business perspective. Assassin's Creed Shadows was a success and will still be a relatively recent instalment of the series in 2027. For that reason Ubisoft may not rush the release of the next main entry in the cycle. The company has not yet confirmed any release date for Assassin's Creed Hexe. All current information is based solely on unofficial reports. They should be treated with appropriate scepticism until an official statement is made. Players will have to wait for Ubisoft's position. Only then will we know the actual release schedule for the new production.
Ubisoft is also developing other games set in the Assassin's Creed universe
According to circulating rumours, Assassin's Creed Hexe is not the only project being developed by Ubisoft. Unofficial reports also suggest work on a remake of the original Assassin's Creed. The remake is said to be released after Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Resynced. That would mean the remake of the classic instalment could debut even before Assassin's Creed Hexe. Leaks also mention a possible return of Ezio Auditore. The legendary character would reportedly serve as a mentor in the new game. However, Ubisoft has not confirmed these reports. At this stage it is difficult to judge which of the circulating claims will turn out to be true. One thing is certain: the publisher is still actively developing the Assassin's Creed franchise. It is possible that further official information will be revealed at future industry events. Until then, fans must rely solely on leaks and speculation.
Latest rumours suggest that Assassin's Creed Hexe may not debut until the second half of 2027. So far Ubisoft hasn't confirmed this, so both the release date and details about the game remain unofficial.
