Apple expands its range of monitors for Mac users. The company has unveiled a refreshed Studio Display and a completely new Studio Display XDR, aimed at professionals working with HDR, video, and 3D graphics. The new models will be available for purchase on 11 March, with pre-orders starting on 4 March.
Studio Display - 5K, Thunderbolt 5 and improved camera
Studio Display remains a 27-inch Retina 5K monitor (over 14 million pixels) with a brightness of 600 nits and a wide P3 colour gamut. The key new features are:
12 MP Center Stage camera with Desk View function,
system of six speakers with deeper bass,
Thunderbolt 5 connectivity with the ability to daisy-chain up to four monitors,
charging a MacBook with up to 96 W power.
The monitor is available with standard or nano-textured glass. The price starts from 7,499 PLN.
Studio Display XDR – mini-LED and 2000 nits HDR
Studio Display XDR is a completely new offering for the film, post-production, and design industries. The 27-inch Retina XDR 5K display uses mini-LED backlighting with 2304 dimming zones. Key specifications: up to 1000 nits in SDR, 2000 nits peak brightness in HDR, contrast 1,000,000:1, refresh rate 120 Hz with adaptive sync (47–120 Hz), wide P3 colour gamut and Adobe RGB. This level is aimed squarely at professional HDR editing and advanced colour grading.

The new Studio Display line is a clear signal that Apple wants to have full control over the professional work environment – from MacBook to reference monitor. The Studio Display XDR with mini-LED, 2000 nits HDR, and 120 Hz targets the most demanding creators, while the classic Studio Display remains a solid choice for Mac users.
