Apple Creator Studio officially presented. One subscription for video, music and graphic creators!

Apple has introduced Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription aimed at video creators, musicians, graphic designers, and those working creatively with documents and presentations. The package combines the company's most advanced applications – Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage – as well as new AI features and premium content in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.

The new service aims to provide "studio-quality tools" in one package and is available on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Apple clearly emphasises that Creator Studio has been designed for both professionals and beginner creators, students, and educators.

Smarter Editing in Final Cut Pro

Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad is receiving a set of new AI-based features that are set to significantly speed up video editing. The main new features include:

• Transcript Search – searching for clips based on spoken text, perfect for interviews and video podcasts

• Visual Search – searching for clips based on objects and actions visible in the frame

• Beat Detection – automatic detection of rhythm and music structure directly on the timeline

The Montage Maker also debuts on the iPad, which automatically edits a dynamic clip from the best shots, matches the pace to the music, and intelligently crops the video to portrait mode, making it easier to publish on social media. The subscription also includes full access to Motion – the tool for 2D and 3D motion graphics – and Compressor, which allows for precise preparation of materials for distribution.

Logic Pro with new AI features for musicians

Apple is enhancing Logic Pro with additional tools based on artificial intelligence, aimed at supporting music composition and production. The key new features:

• Synth Player – a new AI Session Player generating synthesiser and bass parts

• Chord ID – automatic chord recognition from audio and MIDI recordings

• new Sound Library with hundreds of royalty-free loops and sounds

Logic Pro on iPad is gaining, among other things, Quick Swipe Comping known from the desktop version and intelligent loop searching using natural language. As part of Apple Creator Studio, users also gain access to MainStage, which turns the Mac into a stage instrument or vocal processor.

Pixelmator Pro arrives on iPad for the first time

One of the biggest new features is Pixelmator Pro on iPad. The app has been designed from the ground up for touch support and Apple Pencil, while maintaining the full capabilities known from the Mac version. Pixelmator Pro on iPad offers, among other things:

• full layer system

• intelligent selection and bitmap and vector masks

• Super Resolution, Deband, and Auto Crop

• full support for Apple Pencil, including hover, squeeze, and double tap

For Creator Studio subscribers, new Warp tools and product mockup sets are also available.

New features in Keynote, Pages and Numbers

Apple Creator Studio also expands the capabilities of Apple’s office applications, which remain free for all users. Subscribers receive:

• Content Hub with high-quality graphics and illustrations

• new premium templates and themes

• generative tools for creating images from text

• AI features in Keynote, such as generating presentations from outlines

• Magic Fill and formula generation in Numbers

Apple also announces further development of Freeform, which will receive additional features as part of the subscription in the future.

Apple Creator Studio will debut on 28 January in the App Store.
