3 good games on PS Plus that are worth playing

Calendar 3/6/2026

The PlayStation Plus service offers access to hundreds of games for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles. The catalogue includes both major AAA productions and more niche gems. If you're wondering what to play on PS Plus, here are three very good games that are definitely worth checking out.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut

One of the most beautiful games of recent years transports players to feudal Japan during the Mongol invasion of Tsushima Island. We take on the role of the samurai Jin Sakai, who must decide whether to remain true to the traditions of the samurai or to use more dishonourable methods of combat. The game dazzles with its vast open world, excellent combat system, and atmosphere inspired by classic samurai films. The Director’s Cut version available on PS Plus additionally offers the Iki Island expansion and graphical enhancements for PS5.

Returnal

It is one of the most original games on PlayStation 5. The player takes on the role of astronaut Selene, who crashes on a mysterious planet and ends up in a time loop after each death, where the story starts anew. Returnal combines dynamic shooting with roguelike elements, offering a fast-paced gameplay experience and very challenging battles with opponents. The game is also known for its excellent use of the DualSense controller, which enhances the experience during combat.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut

The production of the legendary game creator Hideo Kojima is one of the most unusual games of recent years. The player takes on the role of Sam Bridges, who traverses post-apocalyptic America, delivering packages and rebuilding connections between surviving communities. Although gameplay mainly focuses on exploration and logistics, the game offers an exceptionally atmospheric story, great graphics, and well-known actors, including Norman Reedus.
