Spotify has just arrived on millions of TVs. The app is now available on most models running the Whale TV system. Users can log in and enjoy music and podcasts on the big screen.
Whale TV announced on 22 September that it has made the Spotify app available on most televisions running its system. You can find the app in the app store; just sign in to your account and you're good to go. It's a pretty useful addition, as the streaming service supports video podcasts and music videos.
The system runs on more than 47 million active TVs each month. Whale TV partners with around 400 brands worldwide, including Philips, JVC and Blaupunkt. In Poland, the system is mainly available on lower-end TVs that can be found in popular hypermarkets.
The company hasn't provided a list of TVs compatible with the update. If you have a TV with Whale TV, it's worth checking for yourself whether Spotify is available in your app store.
