Roku expands its lineup with its first OLED TVs. The Pro Series and Pro Series LX models are already on sale in the US, available in 55- and 65-inch sizes. Both series offer 4K resolution, Dolby Vision support and gaming features, with prices on Amazon starting from US$899.
Two OLED series. What's the difference?
The entry-level Roku Pro Series OLED offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the pricier Pro Series LX supports up to 144 Hz in VRR mode. According to the manufacturer, the LX version also delivers higher brightness, a wider colour gamut and more effective reduction of reflections.
Both models support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos and AMD FreeSync Premium. They also include four HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR and ALLM. The TVs run Roku OS and feature Smart Picture Max, which automatically adjusts picture settings to the content being watched.
How much do the new Roku TVs cost?
The catalogue prices for the base Pro Series OLED are $999 for the 55-inch and $1,199 for the 65-inch, though lower offers have already appeared on Amazon, starting at $899. The pricier Pro Series LX costs $1,299 and $1,599, respectively.
The TVs are sold exclusively by Amazon in the United States. So far Roku has not announced plans to bring them to the Polish market.
