LG dazzles at APEC 2025! The chandelier made of 28 transparent OLED T panels proves that technology can be art — no wires, no limits, no compromises.

During this year's APEC 2025 summit, LG Electronics showcased something that no leader or engineer has seen before – a kinetic media chandelier composed of 28 transparent 77-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED T televisions. The installation, suspended in space like a light sculpture, instantly became a symbol of Korean innovation and technological artistry.

Return of the Show from CES 2025

This isn't the debut of this construction – the chandelier was first shown at CES 2025, but in Gyeongju it returned in a more refined, kinetic form.

Each of the OLED screens moves in rhythm with programmed sequences, opening and closing like flower petals. The transparent panels s smoothly transition between transparent and opaque modes, displaying images like those from a meditative dream: starry rains, drifting clouds, ocean depths, and stained glass compositions of light.

Technology that floats in the air

The effect is due to LG True Wireless technology, which means installation doesn’t require any visible wires. The 4K signal is transmitted without delays, and each screen functions as part of a cohesive whole. Viewers felt that the televisions were floating freely in space, creating a vibrant organism made up of light and sound.

OLED as a New Form of Art

The LG SIGNATURE OLED T model is not just a television – it is a medium of art. The company has long promoted the vision of OLED as a technology that can blend into architecture and everyday life. The product has already received numerous accolades, including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, IDEA Award, as well as titles such as Best of IFA and Best in Home Entertainment.

LG at the Centre of the Global Innovation Stage

The APEC 2025 summit gathered leaders and innovators from 21 economies in the Asia-Pacific region. Among the presentations on the future of technology, sustainability, and artificial intelligence, it was LG's installation that attracted the most attention and cameras. The company highlighted that its aim is to shape the future of displays and to show that technology can be not only functional but also emotional.

LG shows that the future of screens is no longer about competing for more pixels. It's about pixels harmonising with space, light, and the emotions of the viewer. OLED is no longer just a screen – it becomes art, architecture, and experience.
