Disney+ has recently ramped up the pace significantly. Big blockbusters, strong science fiction, and spectacular action have dropped. If you’re looking for something “big”, here are three fresh and genuinely solid suggestions.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
A new chapter in the iconic series. The action takes place many years after the events of the previous parts – the world belongs to the apes, and humans are a shadow of their former civilisation. The film focuses on epic shots, scale, and a strong post-apocalyptic atmosphere. It is one of the most spectacular premieres in recent months on the platform.
The Creator
A strong science-fiction film about the war between humans and artificial intelligence. The film captivates visually – featuring futuristic cities, atmospheric shots, and a deeply emotional story at the heart of the conflict. If you enjoy more ambitious sci-fi with a message, this is a must-see.
Deadpool & Wolverine
Marvel in an unrestrained version. Lots of action, even more humour, and heaps of references for fans of the universe. It's one of those films you watch for sheer enjoyment. A perfect choice for a laid-back evening with popcorn.
