The company's revenues amounted to $354.5 million, but even more important was the increase in profitability. Gross profit rose by 13 percent year-on-year, and the gross margin reached a record 32.7 percent. Corsair emphasizes that this was achieved despite challenges related to limited semiconductor availability and higher component costs. The biggest driver of growth was the gaming and content creator devices segment. Products related to streaming, audio equipment, and sim racing performed particularly well. The company also boasts further development of the Elgato brand and the Stream Deck ecosystem, which increasingly leverages AI-based tools. According to Corsair, artificial intelligence significantly simplifies the creation of new extensions and features for the platform.
AI and professional computers are set to be the future of the company
Corsair is increasingly focusing its attention on the AI market. The company is noting a growing interest in high-performance computers for locally running artificial intelligence models. This is primarily aimed at professionals, creators, and small businesses needing substantial computing power without relying on the cloud. According to Corsair, this market could be worth as much as 22 billion dollars annually. The company believes that its experience in building high-performance gaming computers and workstations perfectly aligns with the rising trend of AI PCs. The report also highlighted the development of the ORIGIN PC brand, which is expected to play an important role in this segment.
Elgato, Stream Deck and Formula 1 drive development
Corsair is also heavily expanding its brands related to content creation and esports. Elgato has introduced a new audio platform, Wave Next, which aims to combine hardware and software into a more professional ecosystem for streamers and online creators. The company also announced a partnership between the Fanatec brand and Formula 1. The sim racing hardware manufacturer has become the official partner of F1 Esports, which is expected to help Corsair further develop the premium racing accessories segment.
