The feature is expected to work, among other things, when watching older films or home video recordings. Apple will use local speech recognition that operates directly on the device. The company emphasizes that data will not be sent to internet servers. Initially, the function will only support the English language. Another important new feature will be the ability to change the text size in the Apple TV interface. This will mean that older individuals or those with vision problems will not have to use very large televisions just to comfortably read the menu and subtitles. The feature is likely to primarily work in system apps and programs that use Apple frameworks.
