Yamaha announced the B200A, a compact soundbar for a TV or desktop setup. The unit is about 60 cm wide, supports Dolby Atmos and houses a subwoofer in a single enclosure. It's aimed primarily at smaller rooms.
Small soundbar with a full set of ports
For connecting devices it offers HDMI eARC/ARC, an optical input, and a 3.5 mm AUX jack. There's also Bluetooth for streaming music from your phone. The B200A can be placed under the screen or mounted on the wall. The manufacturer also provides app control. The built-in subwoofer means you don't have to find space for a separate box by the couch or under the desk. That can be more important than the number of features for people who just want to tidy up their setup.
Four sound modes and starting price
There are four sound modes available: Movie, Standard, Stereo, and Game. The Clear Voice feature is designed to improve dialogue clarity, and Bass Extension boosts the low end.

Sales in the US are set to start in November, with the price set at $249.95. The US announcement does not provide a Polish price or an availability date. On paper, the B200A's biggest advantage seems to be the combination of compact size and a generous set of ports.
