XGIMI enters a new phase. The company known for its elegant home projectors and portable models like MoGo and Horizon has created a new sub-brand – Vibe, focused on simple, affordable, and user-friendly projectors for beginner users. The first product – Vibe One – shows that you can have your own cinema in a backpack without spending a fortune.
Small projector, big atmosphere
The Vibe One has the form of a compact "lantern" that can be placed literally anywhere. The manufacturer describes the device as one that "is meant to bring joy, not disappointment." The projector can display a Full HD image with a diagonal of up to 150 inches, and its design combines simplicity with the distinctive style characteristic of XGIMI.
Price? Only 269 dollars (approximately 1100 PLN), and in pre-sale – 199 dollars (approximately 850 PLN). This is a price point that can attract people who have never owned a projector before.
Who is Vibe One for?
It’s equipment created for fun, gatherings, and spontaneous movie nights. Inside, we find a battery (about 1 hour of operation), so it's easy to take it to the garden or on a camping trip – although a power bank will be welcomed.
In terms of brightness, there are no miracles – 205 ISO lumens is enough in the evening, but it's better to close the curtains during the day. Nevertheless, the device has several clever features:
autofocus and automatic keystone correction,
digital zoom,
and a 160° rotating mount, which allows for easy adjustment of the projection angle.
Google TV, JBL and a bit of magic
On board is Google TV with Wi-Fi 5, so right after turning it on you can watch Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video. There is also a HDMI port at the back – for a console or laptop.
The sound is provided by JBL 2×3 W speakers with Dolby Audio, which can fill the room with pleasant, warm sound. Interestingly, the projector can function as a night light with eight colors of backlighting, as well as a Bluetooth speaker.
A New Chapter for XGIMI
The Vibe brand is meant to be a space for cheaper, more lifestyle-oriented devices, while the main XGIMI line (e.g., Horizon 20 Max with triple RGB laser and 5700 ISO lm or Titan with 5000 ISO lm) will remain in the premium segment.
In short: Vibe One is a projector for people who want simple, nice, and portable equipment without complications. Outdoor cinema? A party in the garden? Or just a chill evening in the room with soft lighting and music from JBL?
Now all of this fits into a small, designer "lantern".
