Microsoft has expanded the Designed for Xbox program with a new accessory collection aimed at fans of a more relaxed style of play. The Designed for Xbox Cozy Collection emphasizes a cozy look and a cohesive aesthetic inspired by a pixelated forest, nature, and small adventures. The series features products from 8BitDo, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek. Among them are a mechanical keyboard, a mouse, a controller, earbuds, and analog stick caps. The entire collection is already available, and individual items can be purchased directly from their manufacturers.
8BitDo has unveiled a keyboard, mouse, and controller
One of the main pieces in the collection is the 8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard in the Forest Wonder edition. The keyboard features a separate control panel, RGB lighting, and programmable macro buttons. It uses Kailh mechanical switches with a tactile feel. The 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse in Forest Wonder is styled to match the keyboard, so both devices create a cohesive setup. A charging dock for the mouse is included. The mouse has four programmable side buttons and is designed for fast, precise control during gaming. Another device is the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 Controller in the Mossy Lagoon variant. Its color palette was inspired by water, moss, and small nature-like creatures. The controller features an improved grip, a wireless docking station, and adjustable analog stick resistance. It supports 2.4 GHz wireless and wired connections to Xbox consoles and PCs, and can connect to mobile devices via Bluetooth.
SteelSeries and KontrolFreek complete the set
The second part of the collection features the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds in Matcha and Yuzu. These are compact in-ear earbuds designed for gaming both at home and on the go. They offer active noise cancellation and quick switching between 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3. Users also get access to over 200 sound presets for Xbox and other uses in the Arctis Companion app. The earbuds also support 360° spatial audio. Total battery life with the case is up to 40 hours, while a single charge provides up to 10 hours of use. The case supports Qi wireless charging. They also have IP55 water and dust resistance. The final element of the Cozy Collection is KontrolFreek's No-Slip Thumb Grips, Xbox Cozy Edition. They use GripTek material to reduce thumb slippage while using the controller. The grips also have an ergonomic shape to improve comfort during longer sessions. Their color scheme combines Matcha and Yuzu shades, so they complement the rest of the collection.
