Who’s taking notes during the meeting? BenQ wants to hand that task over to the display. The CP05 series pairs a 4K touch display with a video conferencing camera and a SummarAI feature that automatically generates notes from conversations. Available in 55- and 75-inch models, it offers plenty of room for both presentations and for collaboratively sketching out ideas.
Inside it has hardware that would make many tablets proud: an eight-core ARM processor, 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and Android 15. The display supports up to 50 touch points, so several people can work at the board at the same time. BenQ also claims 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and the colors are Pantone-validated. For video calls, there's a 50 MP camera with intelligent framing. The active pen not only lets you write on the screen, but also switch slides and launch selected tools.
Practical features will be appreciated by anyone who's ever started a meeting by searching for the right cable. The CP05 supports wireless screen sharing via AirPlay, Google Cast, and Miracast, and you can log into your account using NFC or a QR code. So you can run a presentation, a conversation with remote participants, and collaborative notes all from one place.
What looks most interesting, however, is SummarAI, a feature that automatically prepares meeting notes. Instead of taking part in the discussion and jotting down decisions at the same time, users will be able to leave that second task to BenQ's tool. SummarAI can be launched with a button on the active pen, so it's also available while working on the whiteboard. It's a feature that may prove more useful than anything else in this kind of device.
