A long warranty on a TV is today the peace of mind everyone is after. TCL has just launched a brilliant offer, adding as much as 5 years of full manufacturer coverage to most of its models from this year’s lineup. Sounds like a perfect deal? Unfortunately, before you run to the stores, we have a cold shower for you.
TCL extends warranty to 5 years
The whole initiative comes from TCL’s UK division. Customers there get a major bonus: the standard two-year warranty is extended for free by an additional three years. The promotion is long-term, covering TVs bought through local retail partners through June 30, 2027. The only thing to remember is to register the device on the website within 30 days of purchase.
Almost all the most interesting TCL models are on the list
The Brits weren't left out. Free 5-year coverage applies to almost the entire latest, most interesting product lineup. On the promotional list is the aforementioned flagship X11L, the promising C8L and C7L series with SQD Mini LED technology, and the hot new RGB Mini LED models from the RM9L and RM7L series. Even the lifestyle A400 PRO made the cut. Some of these screens have already arrived in our lab, and their tests are already on our site.🙂
Unfortunately... the promotion does not include Poland
And here we come to the catch I mentioned. The promotion is territorial and at the moment does not cover all markets, including Poland. The local TCL branch has not issued any statement about launching a similar program in our country. That's a shame, because five years of peace of mind from the manufacturer is a powerful argument that could strongly influence Poles' purchasing decisions and poach customers from competitors. Let's hope the campaign's success in the UK will persuade headquarters to extend the program to the rest of Europe. We'll keep our finger on the pulse.
