After the recent presentations by competitors, the time has come for the presentation of plans by the Chinese giant – TCL. During an official event in Poland, the manufacturer showcased devices that were even missing from the January CES trade show. Alongside the evolution of flagship Mini-LED televisions, the biggest surprise is the massive offensive in the gaming monitor segment and the development of Micro RGB technology. TCL clearly intends to fight for the leadership position not only in living rooms but also in gaming rooms!
Flagship Series X11L: The Power of 20 Thousand Dimming Zones
The highest position in the hierarchy for 2026 is held by the X11L series. This Mini-LED television is equipped with a new generation of quantum dots, referred to as "Super QLED." This technology is designed to provide nearly complete coverage of the demanding BT.2020 color palette. Although the manufacturer's claims indicate 100% (real tests suggest around 90%), this still represents an unprecedented level of color saturation in this class of equipment.
The key differentiator of the X11L model in the 98-inch version is the number of local dimming zones, which reaches as much as 20 thousand. Thanks to the use of miniature diodes and precise control, this television offers one of the best (if not the best) contrasts on the market in LCD technology.
Micro RGB enters the mid-range: RM9L and RM7L Models
TCL is simultaneously developing Micro RGB technology. In addition to the already known flagship RM9L (which we saw at CES), a more affordable model RM7L will be available. The RM7L model has a smaller number of dimming zones than the 9 series and will be available in smaller sizes, which will naturally translate into a more attractive price.
C8L Series
Just below the flagship RGB MINI-LED RM9L series is the C8L model, which is a direct evolution of the extremely popular Mini-LED televisions from TCL like the C8K and C855. Similar to the highest model, in this one the manufacturer also used a new generation of quantum dots Super QLED. It is this model that is expected to be the most common choice for those looking for "premium class," but who do not need as many as 20,000 dimming zones. A novelty here is also the processor used, the Pentonic 800, which allows for as many as 4 HDMI 2.1 ports in the television.
Continuation of Hits: Series C7L and Budget Models P
For those looking for the "golden mean," TCL has prepared the model C7L – the successor to the popular and highly regarded C7K model for its price-to-quality ratio. The main change compared to its predecessor is the implementation of the aforementioned "Super" quantum dots, which is intended to significantly improve color reproduction.
In the budget segment, we will see refreshed lines P6L, P7L, and P8L with the new Google TV system. Particular attention is drawn to P8L, which will be the first in this class to receive Mini-LED backlighting with 512 dimming zones.
Series A400: New NXT Vision
TCL is also refreshing the "wall art" segment with the NXT Vision A400 series. These models are set to compete with popular lifestyle solutions from other brands (The Frame or CanvasTV). The line is divided into three variants:
A400: The basic QLED model.
A400U and A400 Pro: Based on Mini-LED technology.
The most interesting model, A400 Pro, features a matte screen that eliminates light reflections, making the displayed artwork look very natural. Size options range from 32 to as much as 98 inches. The maximum number of zones is 448.

New Player in the IT Market: Mini-LED and OLED Monitors
The biggest novelty in TCL's portfolio is a wide range of monitors. But in our opinion, these two are particularly interesting
R94: A gigantic, 57-inch curved monitor with a Dual UHD resolution (7680 x 2160). With over 2300 dimming zones and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
X3A: 32-inch OLED 4K monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate. It features a "Dual Mode" that allows switching to Full HD resolution at 480 Hz. The monitor stands out with a design developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen and a new RGB Stripe subpixel structure that improves font sharpness.
PlayCube
The offer is complemented by the mobile projector TCL PlayCube. This is a compact Full HD unit with a built-in battery (up to 3 hours of operation) and a rotating casing that facilitates projection on any surface. The device is meant to be a lifestyle gadget, perfect for summer evenings outdoors or for watching sports events together outside the home. PlayCube has been available for purchase in foreign markets before, but this is its premiere here in Poland.
What is worth waiting for?
As we can see, TCL is entering 2026 with a particularly aggressive strategy. A lot, more... the most! Even though the manufacturer still does not have its own OLED TVs in its offering, the Chinese giant does not intend to give ground to the competition. Instead, it focuses on dual development: on one hand, it is refining screens based on classic Mini-LED diodes by adding a layer of SQD (Super QLED), and on the other hand, it is introducing innovative RGB Mini-LED panels.
Undoubtedly, the upcoming series promises to be interesting products, especially considering the brand's pricing policy so far (very low prices compared to the competition for the offered parameters). However, we will have to wait for final verdicts and direct comparisons until the first units arrive at our laboratory for full testing and calibration.
