Samsung is using its collaboration with Activision on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to promote this year’s OLED TVs. The company is focusing on its Glare Free technology, which reduces light reflections on the screen. This solution is included in three of Samsung’s 2026 OLED models.
Samsung became an official partner of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on August 17, 2026. The collaboration covers TVs, monitors, soundbars and Wi‑Fi speakers. As part of the partnership, Samsung promoted, among other things, HDR10+ GAMING, the broadcast of the Call of Duty: NEXT event on the Gaming Hub, and pre-release demos of the game on Odyssey monitors during Gamescom.
These Samsung OLEDs have a matte coating
The Glare Free technology is designed to reduce reflections of light hitting the screen. This can matter especially when gaming in a bright room, where light from windows or lamps can make it hard to see details in dark scenes. In 2026 the solution was introduced on three of Samsung's OLED TVs: S90H, S95H and S99H. Samsung says the technology was verified by UL against standards for reflections.
