Sony has revealed the September update to the PlayStation Plus game catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers. Among the most notable new releases are WWE 2K26, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, and Ball x Pit. The lineup also includes several other PS5 and PS4 games, including Slitterhead, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, and Sniper Elite: Resistance. Subscribers to the top-tier PlayStation Plus will also receive two older titles as part of the Classics offering. Most of the September games will be available from September 15, although Sony has set later dates for a few titles.
WWE 2K26 and RuneScape: Dragonwilds among the biggest releases
One of the most important games in the September catalog is WWE 2K26 for PlayStation 5. The title offers the largest roster in the series' history, featuring more than 400 playable wrestlers and WWE legends, including The Rock, Triple H, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, Rey Fénix, Rusev and Blake Monroe. The game also lets players relive CM Punk's most significant rivalries in a special Showcase mode. Another major release is RuneScape: Dragonwilds, also for PS5. It's a cooperative survival game set on the forgotten continent of Ashenfall, where dragons have awakened. Players must gather resources, build, develop skills and craft items to prepare for a fight against the powerful Dragon Queen. The game blends survival elements with RPG systems and RuneScape's distinctive fantasy world. Players will encounter, among others, Zogres, the Black Knights and a new enemy named Garou. September's lineup also includes Ball x Pit, a fast fantasy roguelite on PS5. The action begins in the ruins of the city of Ballbylon, which was destroyed by a mysterious event, and surviving treasure hunters descend into monster-infested depths. Players use magical projectiles, expand their arsenal and recruit additional heroes to delve ever deeper. Ball x Pit will appear in the catalog on September 22 in the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan.

The catalog will also include Date Everything!, an unusual game that mixes a dating simulator with a comedic adventure. The story starts with the protagonist losing their job to AI, after which they receive magical Dateviators glasses that let them bring household objects to life. Individual items can then become friends, enemies, or potential partners for the player. The game is available from September 9 in the United States and the United Kingdom, and from September 10 in Japan. On September 22, Slitterhead will be added to the catalog on PS5 and PS4, an action game set on the chaotic streets of Kowlong. The player assumes the role of Hyoki, a memoryless, bodiless entity whose goal is to eliminate Slitterhead monsters hiding among humans. On September 29 the lineup will be rounded out by Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance, all available on PS5 and PS4. Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound combines the classic elements of the Tecmo series with features from its modern 3D installments. Dungeons of Hinterberg takes players to an Alpine resort where dungeons, puzzles, climbing, snowboarding, and relationships with locals await. Sniper Elite: Resistance tells the story of SOE agent Harry Hawker operating in Nazi-occupied France. The campaign can be played solo or in co-op. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also get Mega Man X Command Mission on PS5 and PS4, and Metro Redux on PS4.
September's PlayStation Plus catalog brings a wide range of titles, from WWE 2K26 and the survival title RuneScape: Dragonwilds to the roguelite Ball x Pit. The lineup also includes Date Everything!, Slitterhead, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance. Most of the new games will join the catalog on September 15, while some titles will be added on September 22 or 29. PlayStation Plus Premium will also get Mega Man X Command Mission and Metro Redux.
