Sony has prepared another batch of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. September’s Monthly Games lineup will include four titles spanning very different genres. Players will be able, among other things, to take part in wartime operations in Sniper Elite: Resistance and play another season of baseball in MLB The Show 26. Fans of more casual gameplay can look forward to Wobbly Life, while lovers of classic Japanese RPGs will get Chained Echoes. All the games will be available to claim starting Tuesday, September 1, and the offer will remain available until October 5.
Sniper Elite, baseball and co-op fun: the September lineup has plenty to offer
The best-known offering in the September lineup may be "Sniper Elite: Resistance", coming to both PS5 and PS4. The game moves the action to occupied France, where players take part in a covert war fought away from the main front. The story runs parallel to the events of "Sniper Elite 5". Much of the campaign can be played in co-op. The Axis Invasion mode also returns, letting you invade another player's campaign as a German sniper. Gameplay focuses primarily on stealth, tactics and the series' signature sniper rifle shooting. Outside the campaign there are also online matches for up to 16 players. In those matches players can progress their characters and earn experience, medals and commendations. There's also a Survival mode where you can team up with up to three other people. The other major title in the lineup is "MLB The Show 26", available on PS5. The game offers, among other things, an expanded Road To The Show mode and the ability to build your own team in Diamond Dynasty. PlayStation Plus will also give its members access to a special Jump Start Bundle that includes additional packs and items.
Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes round out the September lineup
The third title is "Wobbly Life", which will be available on PS5 and PS4. The game lets solo players or groups of up to four explore an open world full of minigames, toys, and hidden secrets. Gameplay can be online or on a single screen in local co-op. Players will also find story missions, puzzles, and challenges that deliver additional rewards. The game world includes a tropical island, mountains, and hidden caves. Players seeking less conventional gameplay can also try Arcade mode, which features Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run, and Sandbox. The final offering is "Chained Echoes", a story-driven single-player JRPG available on PS4. The story centers on a group of heroes attempting to end the war between three kingdoms on the continent of Valandis. The game world spans a variety of locations, from vast plateaus and archipelagos to sunken cities and forgotten dungeons. The whole game is presented in a 16-bit RPG style, and during the adventure players can use not only swords and magic but also powerful mechs.
September's PlayStation Plus lineup is really varied. Subscribers will get "Sniper Elite: Resistance", "MLB The Show 26", "Wobbly Life", and "Chained Echoes". The games can be added to your library from September 1 to October 5, 2026. Before the September titles appear on the service, remember the August lineup, which can only be claimed until August 31.
