Hisense has begun selling the C3 Pro, C3 Ultra and C3 Ultra Max projectors in the United States. All three models use a triple RGB laser light source, support Dolby Vision and can project an image up to 300 inches diagonally. The most powerful variant is rated at 5,000 ANSI lumens.
From 3,000 to 5,000 ANSI lumens
The entry-level Hisense C3 Pro offers up to 3,000 ANSI lumens, while the C3 Ultra raises that to 4,000 ANSI lumens. At the top of the series is the C3 Ultra Max with a claimed 5,000 ANSI lumens. The manufacturer also states coverage of up to 118% of the BT.2020 color space and contrast up to 5000:1 using an adjustable iris. All models support Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced, and are also compatible with 3D content. You also get a 56 W 2.1 audio system tuned by Devialet. The projectors feature a movable gimbal-style design that makes it easier to aim the image at a screen, a wall, or even the ceiling.
