The premium TV market has just been enriched with another exceptionally exclusive offering. C Seed, in collaboration with Bugatti, has unveiled the Bugatti N1, which combines Micro-LED technology with luxury design. The device is aimed at the wealthiest customers and stands out not only for its massive screen but also for its automatically folding design. The manufacturer says the TV can become a feature of the most exclusive residences' interiors. However, the price ensures it will remain a product available only to a select few. It's another example of how the ultra-premium TV segment keeps pushing the boundaries of technological possibility.
Foldable Micro-LED Screen Inspired by Bugatti Supercars
The Bugatti N1 is offered in 110- and 137-inch versions and uses Micro-LED technology. When turned off, the TV retracts into a special housing, and it takes about 45 seconds to fully unfold. This is made possible by a modular screen construction composed of many smaller panels. The device's design was inspired by the styling of the Bugatti Tourbillon supercar, and it is built from aluminum and carbon fiber. Both variants offer 4K resolution and peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. The manufacturer also fitted an integrated sound system, although connectivity is limited to HDMI 2.0. Previously, C Seed produced a similar model carrying the Porsche brand, as well as larger versions intended even for installation on luxury yachts.
Price rivals sports cars, but Micro-LED is becoming more accessible
The most striking thing, however, is the price of the new TV. The Bugatti N1 is priced at at least $400,000, comparable to many sports cars. That keeps the device targeted at a very narrow group of buyers. At the same time, Micro-LED technology is gradually appearing in the product lines of more traditional TV manufacturers. The technology is being developed by, among others, Samsung, Sony, LG, Hisense, and TCL. In particular, TCL recently cut the price of its 163-inch Micro-LED TV significantly, lowering it from about $110,000 to $36,500. Although these are still very high amounts, they show that the technology is slowly moving toward wider availability. For now, however, the Bugatti N1 remains primarily a showcase of what's possible and a symbol of luxury.
The Bugatti N1 is one of the most exclusive TVs to hit the market. Its foldable design, Micro-LED screen, and luxurious materials come with a price tag of about $400,000. While the device will remain a niche product, it points the way for the development of premium TV technology.
