Bonfire Studios has officially launched closed beta testing for its first game, Arkheron. The title has been made available to participants in the Xbox Insider program on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PCs. The developers stress that the current build is intended as a technical test, so players may encounter bugs and frequent updates. The beta will run until July 27, and its main goal is to test server performance and gather community feedback. The studio is counting on active player participation in the project's development. At the same time, they unveiled the main gameplay modes and a rewards system prepared specifically for the testing period.

Dynamic classless combat and two main game modes

Arkheron is a fast-paced PvP game in which three-player teams compete. Instead of a traditional class system, players develop their characters by finding and combining items during a match. Gear determines playstyle and the role you fulfill on the team. The closed beta features Spires mode, quick 3v3 skirmishes that let you test different loadouts and hone teamwork. The other mode is Ascension, geared toward more competitive play. It pits 15 three-player teams against each other as they explore a larger map, collect gear, and steadily climb the mysterious tower. Each match culminates in a decisive 3v3 showdown. Ascension will be available only at select times on weekends.

Beta offers exclusive rewards and helps developers refine the game

During the closed beta, players can earn special cosmetic items available only during this phase of development. By completing various activities, such as opening chests, defeating enemies, completing challenges, or climbing the tower, participants receive Pages. The accumulated currency lets you unlock unique Prestige items that will remain tied to the account even after the beta ends. To take part in the event, players need to join the Xbox Insider program and download the test build of the game from the Xbox Insider Hub app. Bonfire Studio also encourages players to submit feedback on the official Arkheron forum. Feedback from players will help refine the combat system, controls, matchmaking, performance, and overall gameplay balance. This way, the developers plan to have the best possible version of the game ready before its release.

Arkheron has begun closed beta tests and invites users of the Xbox Insider program to take part. The title features dynamic PvP battles, an unconventional item-based progression system, and the opportunity to earn exclusive cosmetic rewards. For Bonfire, this is an important step in preparations ahead of the game's full release.
