Apple is expanding its tools for creators and doubling down on artificial intelligence. The company announced a major update to the Apple Creator Studio suite, bringing dozens of new features for users of Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro and its productivity apps. The changes are designed to speed up work on video, graphics, and music while better connecting all the apps across the Apple ecosystem.
Final Cut Pro and Pixelmator Pro get new AI features
The biggest changes went to Final Cut Pro, which received new features using on-device artificial intelligence. The app can now automatically generate captions from the audio track and detect earlier cuts in finished footage, making it easier to re-edit a project. On Mac, an Auto Mask feature has also arrived, automatically recognizing image elements such as people, sky, hair, or clothing, which makes editing and color correction much simpler. Apple also improved the color-matching and clip-trimming tools. Major updates also affected Pixelmator Pro. The app is now more tightly integrated with Final Cut Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. Users can open images from those apps in Pixelmator with a single click, edit them, and have changes automatically saved back to the project. Vector shape generation, new AI tools for creating graphics, and a Content Hub library with ready-to-use assets for projects were also added.
Logic Pro and the whole Apple ecosystem gain new capabilities
Apple hasn't forgotten about music creators either. Logic Pro received improved chord recognition, expanded capabilities for the Beat Breaker tool, and the Granular Alchemy Sound Pack. The most interesting new addition, however, is the Producer Project app, which lets you take a look inside professional music projects and analyze how producers work.
The update also includes the apps Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform, which have gained new editing features, additional effects and even better integration with Pixelmator Pro. Apple stresses that the aim of the changes is to create a single, cohesive environment for creative work where users can seamlessly move between video editing, graphic design, document creation and music production.
The new version of Apple Creator Studio introduces broad integration of Apple apps with Pixelmator Pro and a range of AI features for Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. The update is primarily designed to speed up creators' workflows and further tie together all the tools available across the Apple ecosystem.
