AWOL Vision has opened reservations for its new LuxVision ultra-short-throw projector. The unit will offer 4K at 120 Hz, 6,000 ISO lumens and optical lens shift. The official launch is scheduled for November 3, 2026.
4K 120 Hz and optical lens shift
LuxVision was designed as a UST projector that can be placed close to the screen or a wall. The manufacturer claims support for 4K at 120 Hz, VRR, ALLM and an input lag of 1 ms at 4K/120 Hz. The projector will also support Dolby Vision Gaming. The most interesting feature, however, is the optical lens shift. AWOL claims a vertical shift range of 142–152% offset. This allows you to change the image position without digital scaling or cropping. The solution is meant to make it easier to position the projector in a living room, where placement is often limited. LuxVision also includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced. AWOL has also implemented Anti-RBE II technology, which is intended to reduce the rainbow effect common to some DLP projectors.
Reservations are already open. We know the price
AWOL opened reservations on September 14 and they will run until November 2. A deposit of 100 euros is required, but in return the manufacturer is offering a starter package that is said to include the projector and one of the compatible ALR screens. The list price for the LuxVision is 5,999 euros. So it's not cheap. The launch is scheduled for November 3. For now we have no information about the Polish price or distribution details in Poland.
