65-inch TVs – Test Rankings

Available screen sizes: 55”, 65”, 85”

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: HAIER

Verdict:

The Haier Q80FUX television is one of the most schizophrenic propositions we've had in our editorial office for a long time. On one hand, we have a solid piece of equipment here: a VA panel ensuring deep blacks, as expected in this segment, and a QLED quantum filter that can indeed produce vibrant, eye-catching colours. This is the foundation upon which a really competitive mid-range receiver coul...

Available screen sizes: 65”

Technology: LCD VA, Mini-LED QLED

Brand: HAIER

Verdict:

Haier M95E is on paper a television that looks like the dream come true for any "bargain hunter". When we look at the specifications – a Mini LED panel with hundreds of zones, a powerful brightness exceeding 1500 nits, a QLED 144Hz matrix, phenomenally low input lag, and sound branded by Harman Kardon – everything screams "flagship!". We are dealing with equipment that theoretically should challen...

Technology: LCD VA, White LED

Brand: HAIER

Verdict:

The debut of the Haier brand in the European television market with the K85F model feels hurried, and after thorough testing, it seems almost unfinished. Analyzing this product leads us to a fundamental conclusion: its biggest problem is not the quality of the panel used. This, considering the price segment, is simply average, with the typical advantages of VA technology in the form of high contra...

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: TCL

Verdict:

The time has come to gather all observations. The TCL P7K / P79K is a television that cleverly juggles compromises, offering much more in its price range than we could have expected. Its undeniable asset is the VA panel, guaranteeing deep blacks and high contrast, and the surprisingly rich package for gamers (with VRR and support for 120 Hz at lower resolutions) makes it a phenomenal proposition f...

Available screen sizes: 43”, 50”, 55”, 58”, 65”, 75”, 85”

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: HISENSE

Verdict:

The Hisense E7Q / E79Q is a type of television that does not promise miracles – and maybe that’s why it can pleasantly surprise. It doesn’t try to pretend to be high-end equipment, it just does its job. If you are looking for a cheap screen for everything, that can handle Netflix, a console, and early morning YouTube with coffee, then this model makes a lot of sense. The VIDAA system has been matu...

Available screen sizes: 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”, 98”

Technology: LCD VA, PFS LED

Brand: TCL

Verdict:

The TCL P8K is a television that immediately endears itself. It may seem cheap and from a lower range, yet it can surprise. This device demonstrates that you can also get equipment with character at this price – and it's specifically targeted towards a particular group of users. Because let's not kid ourselves, the P8K is a television designed with gamers in mind. With two HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR supp...

Available screen sizes: 43”, 50”, 55”, 65”, 75”

Technology: LCD VA, White LED

Brand: TCL

Verdict:

The TCL V6C is a television whose essence lies primarily in three elements: the Google TV system, several features useful for gamers, and a very low price. It is the Google TV that is its greatest asset – providing access to a vast library of applications, from the most popular streaming services to lesser-known programmes, and it also allows for the use of AirPlay, screen mirroring, and voice sea...

Available screen sizes: 55”, 65”

Technology: LCD VA, QLED

Brand: PANASONIC

Verdict:

The Panasonic W85B is a television that aims to prove that the Japanese brand can make not only high-end equipment but also something more "for the people." And indeed — on paper, it looks quite decent: a VA panel with solid contrast, high refresh rates of 120/144 Hz, two full HDMI 2.1 ports, and low input lag. It sounds like a great set for a gamer or someone who just wants an affordable TV with ...

Available screen sizes: 65”

Technology: QD-OLED

Brand: SAMSUNG

Verdict:

The Samsung S90F in the 65-inch version is a television that demonstrates the significant leap in quality that can be achieved with the use of a QD-OLED panel in a mid-range model. Compared to other variants, the S90F stands out as the best – it offers not only perfect blacks and infinite contrast like other options with a WOLED panel, but also noticeably higher brightness and a wider colour palet...

Technology: LCD IPS, PFS LED

Brand: SONY

Verdict:

Sony Bravia 3 is a television that brings several important improvements over its predecessor, while remaining true to its core. The biggest change is the design – slim bezels and sturdy metal legs give it a modern appearance that fits much better in a living room than the X75WL. Improved colours thanks to the PFS filter and really good upscaling should also be noted. It is particularly in lower q...
