Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Nano Controller, the smallest controller in the brand's history. The new pad is shorter than most smartphones, weighs just 99 grams and will easily fit in a pocket. Interestingly, despite its compact size, it retains all the key buttons familiar from the classic Xbox controller.
Small size, full capabilities
The Xbox Nano is just over 12.7 cm long and was designed primarily with younger players, people with smaller hands and users who play on the go in mind. The controller offers 18 standard controls, including two analogue sticks, a D-pad, ABXY buttons and triggers. It also has a programmable Action Button, which can be assigned to, among other things, taking screenshots or recording gameplay.
Not just Xbox. The controller will also work with TVs!
The new model supports Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth, meaning it works with Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, PCs, smartphones and compatible Smart TVs. It can therefore also be useful when gaming in the cloud via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Unlike the standard Xbox controller, the Nano has a built-in battery charged via USB-C. However, Microsoft has not yet disclosed the claimed runtime on a single charge.
The price in Poland is PLN 214.99, and the launch is scheduled for 4 November 2026. The controller is already available to pre-order from Microsoft's official store.
