Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled a limited edition DualSense Wireless Controller inspired by the world of James Bond and the upcoming game 007 First Light. The new pad features a gold finish and a distinctive gun barrel motif that immediately recalls the 007 series. It's more of a collector's item than a standard controller, but it still offers all the features of DualSense, including haptics and adaptive triggers.

The appearance here does the most work the golden colour and details referencing the iconic aesthetics of Bond give the controller a unique character. The touchpad has been designed to resemble the motif from the opening credits of the 007 films, which is one of the most recognizable elements of pop culture. Sony clearly aims here at fans of the series and collectors who want to have something unique on their shelf, rather than just another standard controller.

The controller will be available for sale on 27th May together with the game, and preorders will start on 17th April. The price is around 85 dollars, and as is usually the case with such editions, availability will be limited. This means that if someone plans to make a purchase, it's better to hurry, as these types of versions often disappear quickly and later appear on the secondary market at higher prices.
The new DualSense 007 offers more style and a collector's vibe than a technological revolution, but it looks good enough to entice many fans.
