Alienware has started selling its new AW3226Q monitor in the US. It is a 31.5-inch OLED with a new RGB Tandem design, 4K resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. The price is US$699.99 (roughly PLN 2,700), which for a large OLED monitor of this class is quite a good price.
RGB Tandem OLED and up to 1000 nits
AW3226Q uses an RGB stripe tandem OLED panel. Instead of the subpixel arrangement characteristic of some OLEDs, the manufacturer uses a full RGB layout, which is intended to improve, among other things, colour purity and text legibility. Dell also declares 99% DCI-P3 coverage and factory colour accuracy Delta E < 2. The monitor operates at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 165 Hz, and the specified response time is 0.03 ms GtG. Standard brightness is 250 nits, while in HDR the manufacturer states a peak of up to 1000 nits. We also get Dolby Vision and the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
