Samsung has finally taken this step. In 2026, the Art Store will appear for the first time on OLED televisions. The service, which has long been a hallmark of The Frame models, will allow users to turn their screens into a home gallery with access to over 5000 works of art – including the "Mona Lisa" and works by Leonardo da Vinci. OLED is no longer just a television for films and series. Now it simply has to... look good, even when you are not watching anything.
End of Exclusivity for The Frame
Until now, the Art Store was exclusive to The Frame, meaning televisions designed to look like a picture hanging on the wall when turned off. The concept proved to be so popular that competitors tried to replicate it in various ways.
In 2025, Samsung expanded the Art Store to all QLED LCD televisions and micro-LED models. Now it's the turn of OLEDs.
Which OLEDs will receive Art Store?
In 2026, the flagship models S95H and S99H will gain access to Art Store, as confirmed by Samsung to FlatpanelsHD. These televisions will utilise brighter QD-OLED panels in sizes of 55–77 inches and Tandem WOLED in the 83-inch version.
The cheaper series S90H and S85H will not initially receive Art Store – Samsung explains this by the use of older OLED panels. The decision to introduce Art Store on OLEDs clearly shows that Samsung is no longer worried about burn-in issues. Long-term display of static images is not seen today as a real threat to the latest panels.

Metal Frame and Certain Limitations
The S95H (USA) and S99H (Europe) models will feature a metal frame around the screen. It is interchangeable, although at this moment only one version is available. Samsung also notes that the unit shown at CES 2026 may not necessarily reflect the final finish.
Although the Art Store will be available with a full range of content, some automatic features known from The Frame will be missing. Images will need to be selected manually, so if the "gallery" mode is a priority for someone, The Frame remains the better choice.
