Teufel has launched a new soundbar, the Cinebar Pro 2, which aims to turn an ordinary TV into the centre of a home cinema. The unit offers ten drivers, supports Dolby Atmos and DTS, and includes a wireless subwoofer. Interestingly, the system can be further expanded with rear speakers to deliver fuller surround sound.
The new Cinebar Pro 2 uses ten drivers driven by separate amplifier channels with a total power of 232.5 W RMS. Among them are three coaxial drivers serving the front channels, two side drivers and two upward-firing drivers that use ceiling reflections to reproduce height effects.
Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 and expandability
In its basic configuration with the subwoofer, it provides a 5.1.2 system supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS. Optional wireless EFFEKT 2 speakers allow it to be expanded to a 7.1.2 setup. The manufacturer has also introduced a new T 10 Mk2 subwoofer, fitted with a 25 cm driver and a 150 W amplifier. According to Teufel, the unit reproduces frequencies down to 31 Hz. It includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs, an HDMI eARC output, and optical and analogue inputs. The soundbar also supports AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Bluetooth 5.3. A small OLED display sits on the front, and control is via the remote, touch buttons or the Teufel Home app.
Price? As much as 7000 zł
The Teufel Cinebar Pro 2 is already available in the manufacturer's Polish store. Prices start at 5199 zł for the 5.1.2 set with the T 8 subwoofer. The variant with the more powerful T 10 Mk2 costs 5599 zł, while the most extensive 7.1.2 set is priced at 7099 zł.
