TCL has plenty to be pleased about, because in this year's EISA Awards the manufacturer picked up as many as six distinctions. Four of them went to televisions and two more to audio products. Interestingly, we have already had the chance to test most of the award-winning TVs ourselves. That means you can directly compare the EISA verdict with the results of our measurements and tests. TCL X11L otrzymał tytuł EISA Statement TV
Najważniejszym z nagrodzonych telewizorów jest bez wątpienia TCL X11L. 98-calowy flagowiec otrzymał tytuł EISA Statement TV 2026–2027, czyli wyróżnienie dla konstrukcji mających pokazywać możliwości producenta w segmencie dużych ekranów. Model wykorzystuje technologię SQD Mini LED i został wyposażony w bardzo rozbudowany system lokalnego wygaszania. TCL deklaruje w tym przypadku nawet 20 736 stref podświetlenia oraz szczytową jasność HDR sięgającą 10 000 nitów. To jednocześnie jeden z najbardziej ekstremalnych telewizorów Mini LED, jakie mieliśmy okazję sprawdzić w naszym laboratorium. Duży ekran, bardzo wysoka jasność i rozbudowane podświetlenie sprawiają, że X11L zdecydowanie nie jest typowym telewizorem do salonu.
TCL C8L wins award for best premium Mini LED TV
The second model to be honoured is TCL C8L, which received the EISA Premium Mini LED TV 2026-2027 award. It is a TV aimed at viewers who expect high image quality but do not necessarily want the manufacturer's largest and most expensive flagship. The C8L also uses Mini LED technology and delivers very high HDR brightness. According to the manufacturer, the model can reach up to 5,500 nits of peak brightness. Importantly, TCL C8L has also been through our lab. This allows us to compare the EISA award with our own measurements and hands-on TV tests.

Another awarded TV is TCL C7L, which won the title EISA Best Buy Mini LED TV 2026–2027. In this case EISA drew attention primarily to the combination of the TV’s capabilities and its price positioning. The C7L is intended to be a more affordable alternative to TCL’s higher-end models, while retaining many advanced Mini LED features. The manufacturer claims, among other things, up to 3,000 nits of HDR brightness, 1,152 local dimming zones and a native 144 Hz refresh rate. It is also a model which we have already had the opportunity to test thoroughly.
TCL RM9L shows the future of RGB LED TVs
The fourth TV award went to TCL RM9L. This model received the EISA Premium RGB LED TV 2026–2027 award. The RM9L is particularly interesting because of its use of RGB LED technology, which is set to be the next step in the development of LCD TVs. Instead of conventional white backlighting, separate light sources are used for each colour component. TCL is developing this technology as a way to achieve a wider colour gamut and even better control over the image. We have not yet had the opportunity to test this model, so we cannot yet compare the EISA verdict with our own measurements. However, the RM9L is one of the more interesting TVs in this year's TCL line-up and is definitely worth keeping an eye on for when it appears in independent reviews.
TCL scooped two more awards for audio equipment
The list of TCL's successes doesn't end with the four award-winning TVs. The manufacturer picked up two further EISA distinctions for audio devices. The first went to the TCL Z100 and Z100-SW package, which was named EISA Wireless HT Audio System 2026–2027. The system is designed for wireless home cinema and can be expanded with additional components. A single Z100 speaker offers a 1.1.1 configuration and 170 W output, and the whole system works with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology. The second distinction went to the TCL A65K Design Series, which was recognised as EISA Soundbar 2026–2027. The soundbar has a 3.1.2 configuration, supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and was tuned by Bang & Olufsen.
Has TCL really earned these awards?
This year’s EISA awards haul is exceptionally strong for TCL, especially in the TV category. The manufacturer received accolades both for the extreme 98-inch X11L and for the more affordable C8L and C7L models. Added to that is the RM9L, which represents a completely different direction in LCD development thanks to its use of RGB LED backlighting. Importantly for our readers, we have already had the chance to test three of the four TCL award-winning TVs. That means you don’t have to rely solely on the manufacturer’s marketing claims or the EISA verdict. TCL can count this year’s edition of the EISA Awards as a particular success. The manufacturer picked up six distinctions, four of which went to televisions and two to audio devices.
