Pusheen, one of the most recognisable internet cats, will get her own officially licensed game. Pusheen’s Place will debut on 1 October 2026 and will be available exclusively on Apple Arcade. The title will let players create a cosy space for over 100 cats and take care of their daily entertainment. On the same day the service's catalogue will expand with several other interesting titles, including River City Survivors and Terraria+. Apple has therefore prepared for early October a lineup of games aimed at fans of both relaxed play and more dynamic gameplay.
Pusheen’s Place will let you create your own cat paradise
Pusheen’s Place is the first officially licensed game to use the popular cat character. It was developed by Lively, which has created a title focused primarily on calm, relaxing play. Players will be able to create their own cosy Pusheen world. A key element of the gameplay will be caring for more than 100 adorable cats. There will also be options for furnishing and decorating rooms as you like. Available characters include Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen. The game therefore lets you not only look after the cats but also develop their surroundings. The developers have also prepared a set of minigames to complement the main experience, including Snack Stack, Parfait Pop and Batch Match. Pusheen’s Place thus joins other relaxing titles on Apple Arcade, such as Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom and Cozy Caravan. The game will be available from launch exclusively to Apple Arcade subscribers. The title may particularly appeal to players seeking a peaceful game centred on collecting, decorating and caring for virtual cats. Its release will also mark Pusheen’s first official appearance in a standalone licensed game.
River City Survivors and more games are coming to Apple Arcade
Alongside Pusheen's Place, River City Survivors from Arc System Works will arrive on Apple Arcade on 1 October. It's a fast-paced action title in the survival genre, set in the world of the long-running River City series. Players will face successive waves of zombies, using special attacks and random upgrades. Players can choose from over 20 playable characters, including Kunio and Riki. During gameplay you can also recruit up to two companions and form your own team. On the same day Apple Arcade will also receive Terraria+, a version of the popular sandbox game prepared by 505 Games. The title lets you fight, explore and build in an ever-expanding world. The version available on the service will include the 1.4.5 "Bigger & Boulder" update, featuring a crossover with Dead Cells and elements tied to Palworld. Terraria+ will also allow co-op play with up to seven friends via Game Center or a local Wi-Fi network. The catalogue will be rounded out by Touchgrind BMX 2+ from Illusion Labs and 4 Pics 1 Word+, special versions of popular games made for Apple Arcade.
