The best Mini-LED televisions at record low prices! They will soon disappear from stores!

Which Mini LED should you buy? After all, not everyone is looking for an OLED. For many of you, high brightness, resistance to burn-in, and excellent visibility in a bright living room are priorities. That's exactly why this ranking was created – a comparison of the best Mini LED TVs currently available at very attractive prices. In this comparison, you'll find models that have not only become cheaper but, more importantly, stand out in picture quality that is hard to find in TVs at a similar price point! Some offer excellent HDR reproduction, others fantastic gaming support or access to a vast library of applications. The common denominator? These are models that we have tested and that truly perform. Of course, each of these models differs from each other, e.g., in smart system, features for gamers, or design. However, each of these models is currently a sensible choice for those who want something more than an average LCD – but don't necessarily want to reach for an OLED.

Three best MINI-LED televisions at a reasonable price!

Samsung QN85D / QNX1D

Samsung QN85D / QNX1D – Check out our review/test – click on the photo.

One of the cheapest Mini LEDs in Samsung's 2024 range, and also one of the more interesting models in its price bracket. Although it has the least local dimming zones among the brand's top models, it stands out with an excellent image processor that compensates for its hardware shortcomings. The QN85D performs very well with contrast, upscaling, and light management in challenging HDR scenes. Its panel offers high brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Tizen system runs quickly, has plenty of apps and smart features – including PiP, integration with the SmartThings app, and a very handy remote. It’s an ideal choice if you’re looking for a balance between quality and price in Samsung's ecosystem.

TCL C765 (MQLED85)

TCL C765 (MQLED85) – See our review/test – click on the photo.

TCL C765, also known as MQLED85, is a model that offers exceptionally good value for money in its price range. The Mini LED backlighting with local dimming and excellent picture quality make this TV competitive with much more expensive models. Its biggest advantage is the Google TV system, which provides the widest selection of apps among all platforms. It’s also a great choice for gamers – it features HDMI 2.1, variable refresh rate, and very good (low) input lag. If you’re looking for a versatile TV with Mini LED and Google TV – it’s hard to find a better option at this price.

Hisense U7NQ

Hisense U7NQ – Check out our review/test – click on the photo.

Hisense U7NQ is one of the more balanced models in this comparison. It also offers Mini LED backlighting but is additionally equipped with features that the competition lacks – such as the ability to record to USB or a classic remote control with physical buttons. This is a television that will work well for traditional use: watching TV, films, and series, as well as occasional gaming. Its strong point is also the VIDAA system – simple, fast, with an ever-growing library of applications. For someone who values functionality and a classic approach to operating typically "television" features, the U7NQ will be a perfect choice.

*Note regarding the 75-inch variant, we are 100% sure that it has an IPS/ADS panel, so it does not relate to our test. Definitely concerning contrast and black levels!

Exceptions to the rule: X90L and Q80D!

Sony X90L

Sony X90L – Check out our review/test – click on the photo.

Sony X90L is one of two exceptions in this comparison, as it does not use Mini LEDs but rather classic Full Array LED backlighting. Despite this, it deserves a very high place in our TV ranking due to its excellent image processing quality. Sony has shown for years that a good processor can work wonders – and the X90L is a prime example of this. It handles lower quality content well, enhancing fluidity and detail in the image, and it runs on the Google TV system. If you're looking for something with more of a cinematic flair, rather than necessarily the maximum number of zones – this model will be a great choice for those who don't always watch content in the highest quality!

null
Samsung Q80D – Check out our review/test – click on the photo.

Q80D is a sort of "cheaper version" of the Mini LED QN85D – because instead of hundreds of zones, it has classic FALD backlighting, but done very sensibly. Interestingly, its price for the 75” variant can be lower than some 75-inch models from lower series of TVs, like the much worse Samsung Q70D model with edge lighting. It's this price that makes the Q80D land in this comparison.

While it doesn't have such impressive technical parameters, it performs very well with HDR and contrast, and the additional motion smoother makes games and movies look really decent. On top of that, there's a handy Tizen system, a proven processor, and decent build quality. For many, this will be a great alternative if they don't need an absolutely top-end display but want to buy a large TV for really reasonable money.

Biggest discounts? It's the Flagship MiniLEDs!

Samsung QN90D / QN92D

Samsung QN90D / QN92D – Check out our review/test – click on the image.

This is a true high-end Mini LED. The QN90D (or its equivalent QN92D) offers a very large number of dimming zones, impressive brightness (up to 2000 nits), and excellent picture quality even in difficult lighting conditions. The VA panel is supported by technology that enhances viewing angles, and the TV itself runs on a refined Tizen system. It performs great both in the evening and in a sunny room. It also includes support for gamers and modern gaming features (144Hz, HDMI2.1, etc.). It is simply one of the strongest LCDs on the market, now available at a very good price. Its largest variants have dropped by as much as 60% compared to the launch price!

C855

TCL C855 – Check out our review/test – click on the photo.

Although TCL has already presented its new line of 2025 televisions, it's worth taking a look at last year's model – C855. The main reason? The prices of new models are about 30% higher, and the C855 still offers excellent picture quality, impressive brightness, and a massive number of dimming zones. This is the flagship (excluding the absurdly expensive series of 115-inch televisions 😉) TCL from 2024, which will work perfectly as a TV for movies and series as well as a gaming screen. Unlike many competing models, the C855 runs on the Google TV system, giving us access to the largest number of apps and smart features. Gamers can count on HDMI 2.1, low input lag, and a high screen refresh rate of 144Hz! If you're looking for a premium class television but without paying extra for this year's "new" label – this is one of the best options in the entire lineup.

These TVs have dropped in price by OVER HALF! Buy them before they disappear from the stores!
