TCL showcases a 4K OLED monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 480 Hz mode.

Calendar 3/8/2026

TCL has announced a new monitor for desktop computers – the 32X3A model, which will launch the X-series line. The device features a 31.5-inch OLED panel and offers two operating modes: 4K at 240 Hz or Full HD at 480 Hz. Information about the new model appeared on the industry site VideoCardz.

OLED 31.5 inches and two refresh modes

The most important element of the monitor is the 31.5-inch OLED panel. By default, the screen operates at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. However, the manufacturer has provided an additional mode that can be switched with one click – 1920 × 1080 at 480 Hz.

This type of solution is mainly aimed at gamers. The high resolution and 240 Hz can be used in single-player games or when working with multimedia, while the 480 Hz mode at a lower resolution is designed to assist in e-sports titles, where fluidity and response time are crucial.

TCL expands OLED offerings in monitors

The manufacturer refers to the set of technologies used as “OLED+”, although details regarding the panel construction (it is likely to be TCL CSOT's proprietary panel) have not been widely described. It is known, however, that the monitor has a very thin casing of 6.4mm. The 32X3A model is the first monitor in the X series, which is intended to be positioned higher in TCL's offerings. The company has been developing its own OLED panels and display technologies for several years now, but until recently, it has been more associated with televisions than with computer monitors.

The OLED Monitor Market is Rapidly Growing

The launch fits into a broader trend in the market. In recent years, monitor manufacturers have increasingly turned to OLED panels, especially in models for gamers. The high refresh rate, very fast response time, and deep blacks make this technology begin to compete with fast LCD.

So far, TCL has not disclosed the price or exact release date for the model 32X3A in Europe. However, it is available in China for around 6,000 yuan, which translates to about 3,500 zł in our currency.
