Weybridge – 23 September 2025 – Sony, in collaboration with AV specialists from Celexon and signage software creators – connectSignage – unveiled a new premium kiosk installation based on 98-inch BRAVIA BZ53L 4K Professional Displays. The solution is designed as a double-sided, attention-grabbing structure, ideal for visual communication at a 1:1 scale – perfect for retail, corporate, and educational spaces.
Two-Sided Display on 98 Inches
The heart of the kiosk consists of two Sony BRAVIA BZ53L displays, each with an impressive diagonal of 98 inches, arranged in portrait format, back to back. The structure, standing at 220 cm, becomes the focal point of any space – from shops, gyms, and universities to offices and showrooms. With dual content playback, it is possible to simultaneously display advertising, branding, and informational messages in both directions.
Elegant installation and simple content management
The technical side is handled by Celexon, which supplied a high-quality display mount, allowing for easy and clean installation – without drilling and installation dust. On the other hand, connectSignage contributes its CMS solution – a no-code content management platform, fully compliant with GDPR and hosted in a climate-neutral way in Germany. The system allows you to create and control content 24/7, without the need for programming knowledge. The entire system is covered by three years of Sony Premium Support.
Deep Black Non-Glare – clear image in all conditions
Sony BZ-L displays are equipped with Deep Black Non-Glare technology, combining an anti-reflective coating with a low-glare surface. This ensures that the image remains contrasting, sharp, and free from reflections – even in strong daylight or spotlighting.
Partner Voices
– “Together with Sony, we have created a visually impressive stela that can be elegantly placed in any showroom or point of sale. The screen and mount form a cohesive, stylish whole, and installation is quick and hassle-free” – says Jens Gehring, Brand Business Director at Celexon.
– “Digital signage works when content can be created and deployed effortlessly. With our connectSignage software and Sony displays, it’s truly child’s play” – adds Patrick Schröder, CGO at connectSignage.
– “We are showcasing together what premium digital signage can be – easy to implement, visually striking, and attractive for business” – emphasises Noelle Giesselbach, Trade & Segment Marketing Manager at Sony Europe.
Ecology and Sustainable Development
Sony strongly emphasises the ecological aspect. The casings of the BZ-L series are partially made from recycled materials, including SORPLAS™, and the SoC architecture reduces the need for additional components. The Eco Dashboard panel and light sensor allow for monitoring and optimising energy consumption. As a result, the overall design is characterised by low power consumption.
For its efforts in sustainable development, Sony Europe received the EcoVadis Gold Medal in December 2024, ranking in the top 5% of the most sustainable companies worldwide.
Availability
The new Sony kiosk solution will be available from the end of September 2025 in Germany. The company is considering expanding its offering to other European markets.
