This lets the user place the projector virtually anywhere and quickly start a screening. The XR10 is aimed at people who want the highest image quality without the need for a permanent installation.
Powerful image and advanced optics make a huge impression
The biggest advantage of the Hisense XR10 is undoubtedly its image display system. The projector uses a triple laser light source, delivering an impressive 6000 ANSI lumens. That's a result that far exceeds the capabilities of many competing designs currently on the market. This means the unit performs well not only in darkened rooms but also for daytime projection. The manufacturer has also implemented a dedicated IRIS light-control system that increases contrast by regulating the amount of emitted light. Mobility meets premium home cinema
Although the XR10 offers features associated with advanced home cinema installations, the manufacturer hasn’t forgotten about portability. The projector is designed to be easily moved between rooms or used for outdoor screenings. Interestingly, it even comes with a dedicated carrying case. Hisense has also used a closed-loop liquid cooling system that effectively dissipates heat without generating excessive noise. This solution is far more common in PCs and professional equipment than in consumer projectors. The XR10 can project an image with a diagonal of up to 300 inches, creating a truly cinematic experience. Users also get a generous selection of ports, including three HDMI inputs, two USB ports and additional audio and network inputs. The projector runs Vidaa OS, which provides access to popular streaming apps. It also features built-in speakers developed in collaboration with Devialet. Although many users will still opt for an external audio system, the built-in sound is intended to deliver very good audio quality. The only significant barrier may be the price, which is around $6,000. The manufacturer insists, however, that the technologies used and the unit’s capabilities justify the high cost. The XR10 is aimed primarily at the most demanding users who don’t want to choose between portability and top-quality picture.
