Apple does not hide the fact that the biggest money is made today not on iPhones, but on services. Subscriptions are gold for them – a stable income every month, without production costs. That’s why they launched another idea: AppleCare One. And no, this is not just another package for “extended warranty with a star.” It’s a thoughtful combo – a little insurance, a little service care, a little convenience for those who have more than one Apple device and do not want to deal with separate paperwork and invoices.
Apple no longer just sells hardware. Subscriptions are their new goldmine
The service launched today, but (as usual) only in the United States. For $19.99 per month (approximately 72 PLN), users can cover three devices – for example, an iPhone, an iPad, and a MacBook. Interestingly, they do not have to be the latest models – it’s enough that the device is less than 4 years old and in good condition. Each additional device added to the package costs an extra $5.99 (approximately 22 PLN). Simply, transparently, without any tricks. And in countries where Apple Stores operate – it works really well. Not like here, where the service can be… inconsistent.
Three devices, one price. And even older models are included
AppleCare One is an extension of AppleCare+. The latter is the well-known warranty extension – including unlimited repairs for accidental damage or optional protection against theft and loss. The difference now is that you don't have to purchase separate coverage for each device – you have one subscription and everything under control. It's perfect for those who don't want to pay several hundred dollars again for a cracked screen. Especially in the USA, where those 20 bucks a month isn't a fortune.
But not in Poland. Here we still have glass and cases from Allegro
Except that… not with us. AppleCare+ in Poland still doesn’t work officially, and AppleCare One – well, even less so. You can at most purchase the service abroad and hope it will be honored, but you can't buy it in złoty. And nothing indicates that this will change. So if you're counting on protection for your equipment straight from Apple – you’d better pack your suitcase. Or keep buying glass, cases, and hope for luck.
