Instead of a personal assistant on your smartphone, Samsung Vision AI Companion has been designed with a shared screen in the living room in mind. This solution is for the whole family – for those who during a film screening want to ask about an actor, check trivia about the movie, or plan a joint dinner. The assistant responds verbally and shows prompts on the screen – with graphics, videos, or recipes.
An example? You might ask:
– “What’s the best way to grill pork belly?” – and the Vision AI Companion will show a series of step-by-step videos.
– “Can you recommend a movie for Christmas?” – the television will display festive classics and new releases.
– “What’s the weather like in December?” – you will receive the current forecast.
Everything happens in the background – without stopping the film, without applications, without clicking.
Conversational and Visual Intelligence
At the heart of the Vision AI Companion is an enhanced Bixby and generative artificial intelligence that understands the context of conversations and follow-up questions. These are no longer commands but natural conversation – you can speak as you would to another person. On the screen, not only are answers displayed, but also visualisations and contextual materials – images, videos, reviews or recommendations.
