On the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the GeForce NOW service, NVIDIA decided to make a gift to users of the Amazon ecosystem. The cloud gaming application has officially launched on the Fire TV system. If you have a cheap Fire TV Stick or a newer TV with this system, such as a Panasonic, you can run the most demanding PC games (from Steam, Epic or Game Pass) directly on the big screen. You don't need a computer that costs several thousand złoty. All you need is a controller, stable Wi-Fi and a subscription to the application, which has just become available for download.
Panasonic OLED with Fire TV under our magnifying glass
This announcement is particularly good news for fans of Japanese image precision. As you probably know, the latest Panasonic televisions – including powerful OLED models like Z95A and the latest Z95B – have abandoned the old My Home Screen system in favour of Fire TV. As a result, GeForce NOW is becoming a native application there. We will soon test this solution in practice on Panasonic televisions and update our reviews to let you know if the application is indeed available for download.
What exactly will you play on?
Initially, support covers the most popular "paliuszki", namely Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st and 2nd generation) and Fire TV Stick 4K Plus. The app requires Fire OS version 7 or 8 (depending on the model). Although the quality is currently limited to Full HD, it is still a huge leap for those who want to play new titles like Kingdom Come: Deliverance or REANIMAL without buying a console for the television.
