Europe’s only Hisense 136MX Micro LED lands in Poland for £108,000

Calendar 2/22/2026

In the Warsaw showroom AudioColor, a piece of equipment has appeared that rarely makes it to store displays, especially in Poland. It is the Hisense 136MX, a 136-inch giant made with Micro LED technology. The price? Just: 549,000 zlotys which is around £108,000. This is not a printing error – the amount corresponding to the value of an apartment results from the use of technology designed to eliminate the biggest drawbacks found in current market screens!

25 million independent diodes?

Instead of marketing slogans, it's worth looking at the numbers. Hisense states that this model operates with nearly 25 million diodes. Where does this figure come from? After all, there are about 8.3 million pixels in 4K resolution? Let us explain. In Micro LED, each pixel consists of three independent subpixels (red, green, and blue), which generate light by themselves. When multiplied, this gives us around 25 million light points. From a technical perspective, this means that black is perfect here (the diode simply switches off), and since the materials are inorganic, the risk of image burn-in known from OLEDs is practically non-existent.

New picture mode: Dolby Vision and Filmmaker Mode together

A curiosity for those following the TV market is the way Hisense approached picture modes. Typically, Dolby Vision and Filmmaker Mode standards worked separately... either we used a mode based on dynamic metadata improving the picture or "raw" director's settings. We simply couldn't combine them. With the 136MX, the manufacturer was the first on the market to enable the simultaneous activation of both functions thanks to a new picture mode. This is set to provide a picture without unnecessary digital enhancements while retaining all the advantages of Dolby Vision.

The whole process is supported by a processor that mainly focuses on enhancing lower quality images so that they do not suffer from digital noise on such a large surface. Of course, all these features are wrapped in AI, which stands for artificial intelligence, but their principle of operation is simple. The image should look better than the raw one.

What do we get for the price?

With this diagonal and technology, there’s no question of taking the television out of the box and putting it on a cabinet. A 136-inch MicroLED screen is a modular construction. It arrives at the customer's location in parts, which specialised technicians assemble directly on the wall. They must do this with millimetre precision to ensure that the joints between the individual panels are as inconspicuous as possible once the device is activated. That’s why the price, which exceeds half a million złotys, already includes full pre- and post-sales support as well as the complex logistics associated with installation.

Where can you see it?

If anyone is curious about what a picture looks like for such an amount, the Warsaw showroom AudioColor is currently the only place in Europe where this specific model can be seen in person. The shop has prepared a dedicated cinema room for this screen, treating it not only as a showcase of the future but also as a real product that could end up in someone's home. It is a rare opportunity to check out Micro LED technology in "civilian" conditions, as such panels are usually only found at major technology fairs behind closed doors.
