Bloober Team is not slowing down. The studio, which has become well-known in recent years mainly for its psychological horror games, has decided to open an entirely new chapter and create its own IP – Cronos: The New Dawn. Since its release, the game has received positive reviews both in Poland and abroad, and now it has been given another strong marketing push. The latest live-action trailer is exactly the kind of promotion expected from new brands – dynamic, emotional, and building an atmosphere that is meant to attract more players.

What is Cronos: The New Dawn?
This is not another horror from Bloober. The creators have opted for an ambitious sci-fi adventure with elements of survival and narrative RPG. The action of the game is set in a distant future, where humanity stands on the brink of a new era of colonisation. The player finds themselves on a mysterious planet, where its beauty quickly gives way to unease – the world is full not only of exotic fauna and flora but also of dangers that require quick decisions, wits, and resource management.
The plot emphasises moral choices – each decision can have far-reaching consequences for the further development of the story. It is a mix of narrative characteristic of Bloober Team with a new form of gameplay, where exploration, relationships with other survivors, and the struggle for survival matter.
Versions for all platforms – including Nintendo Switch 2
Cronos: The New Dawn was designed from the ground up for the new generation of consoles and PCs. The production has been released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers, but the Polish developers have also prepared a release for Nintendo Switch 2. It is this version that the latest live-action trailer focuses on.
The material shows a woman playing on the handheld console, interspersing scenes from daily life with gameplay snippets. This way, the viewer not only sees how the title looks on Switch 2 but also receives a clear message – it’s a game that you can take with you anywhere, without losing its atmosphere or dynamics.
Live-action as a Promotion Model
The trailer itself is a great example of how to promote a new IP. Instead of a standard gameplay compilation, we get a story rooted in the real world that highlights the emotions associated with playing. It's not just a console advertisement, but also building the game's brand and transferring its atmosphere beyond the screen.
It may seem that the release of such material now is a conscious decision – the premiere is long behind us, but Bloober Team still maintains interest in the title and reminds us that Cronos: The New Dawn is a project that has the potential to become one of the most important Polish brands in the gaming world.
